About South West Tinting

South West Tinting is a well established company trading since early 2009, created to fill a gap in our local market. Our aim is to offer a professional, friendly and helpful service at a competitive price.

After working in the motor trade for 5 years previous and being besotted with cars from about age 15, I wanted to branch out in to the self employed world. After a lot of research, the application of solar control film really interested me as a new skill to learn. With a severe lack of locally advertised companies offering this service I had hopefully found the perfect market niche.

The first obvious step to lifting this off the ground was to learn the skills involved. This was made possible learning alongside Tim Haywood, one of the UK’s top window tinters. After spending a several long hard working days in Wales taking full advantage of his purpose fitted facility, I was eager to get home and get practising using any cars I could lay my hands on, this is what its all about!
